God, also called Lord, the Most High God (Pinakamataas na Bathala or Kataas-taasang Bathala), the Greatest God (Pinakadakilang Bathala), and the True God (Tunay na Bathala), is the creator of the universe.
God is worshiped by the humans of the human world, such as Paopao, as well as Sang'gre Lira of Lireo, who grew up in the human world. He resides at the Realm of the Celestial Beings where the forces of light and goodness also reside.
The existence of the Almighty seems to be unknown to Encantados. The younger generations know three deities (Emre, Arde and Ether), while the ancients, such as Imaw, know five (the three deities plus Keros and Haliya). Emre was regarded as the Supreme Being in Encantadia.
In early episodes, it may be thought that Emre and God were one and the same. But by the beginning of the second book, it was revealed that there were other celestial beings like Emre. Emre was expelled, with the other four deities, from the Realm of the Celestial Beings, for remaining neutral during the battle between Light and Darkness; neither were they admitted to the Void.
After Emre's fall, Paopao, Haliya, and Emre himself, prayed to God for the welfare of Encantadia.
So far, only Paopao from the Human World and Sang'gre Lira of Lireo, Rehav of Sapiro, are the known worshipers of God in Encantadia. Amihan and Muyak, who also lived for a long time in the human world, also know of his existence.
- Lira opined that Emre and God may have been friends. Emre and Haliya acknowledged Him as the Supreme Being, indicating their subordinate status.
- It can be argued that Emre's philosophy of non-interference and free will came from the Most High God Himself. This also includes the concept of divine providence where indirect interventions are used to fulfill his complete will.
